Will it really have the techno shit this year?
It really will. Organizers of the punk-lite trek have a new stage for the kiddies this year, sponsored by Spotify and oriented toward EDM and hip-hop. Which means it shouldn’t infringe upon the usual faux-hawk rock and emocore at the other stages.
Has it really banned moshing?
Not really. Performers have been sworn to not encourage the crowd to engage in aggressive physical activity with words like “pits” and “wall of death,” lest they want to assume liability for any injuries or lawsuits. But that doesn’t mean you can’t slam into each other like idiots.
Will it be really hot on Friday?
Like the devil’s asshole — we’re talking a high of 115 degrees. So maybe nobody will be dancing to EDM and moshing anyway.
