As of press time, SoCal promoter Goldenvoice hadn’t announced the lineup for the 14th Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio Calif., to be held April 12-14 and 19-21.
But already, local venues have been booking indie/alternative acts around those dates that suggest, if not all but confirm, their Coachella appearances. House of Blues have announced shows with Spiritualized (April 12) and Beach House (April 15), while The Joint has signed The XX (April 16), and the Hard Rock Cafe will feature Alex Clare (April 18). Expect Cosmopolitan and The Pearl to jump into the fray soon.
