Porn star brunch: Pass the buns, ladies

When our dining writer, Al Mancini, isn’t looking for new restaurants to review or filming his upcoming Travel Channel show, All Forked Up, he hosts foodie events featuring porn stars, as he’ll do on Jan. 20 at Rattlecan, inside the Venetian.

Burning Angel Brunch will allow 40 randy eaters to munch and mingle with stars from punk-pussy studio Burning Angel. And Al assures us it’s no gawk-from-afar arrangement. “It’s small, so you actually get to chat with the ladies,” he says. “Last year, it was assigned seating, and we had at least one or two women at each table … This year will be a bit more mix and mingle. But the goal is really to get to talk to them.”

He also promises “culinary debauchery,” but what does that really mean, especially at a restaurant mere feet away from Sheldon Adelson’s throne? “After a few drinks, they generally get to goofing around, which for close friends who make a living in the porn world means a lot of groping, spanking, whatever,” says Al. We imagine “whatever” will be relative to how many Bloody Marys the girls glug down. (For reservations, call 792-8932. $50 per person.)
