If you want a real taste of how beautiful life in Las Vegas can be, sign up for one, or both, days of the Culinary Crawl at the Life Is Beautiful festival Oct. 26-27. Since this takes place within the “footprint” of the festival, yeah, that’s what they’re calling the ticket-only event site, you’ll need a general admission or VIP festival ticket, plus a separate ticket for this event at $130 per day. But if you can scrape up the cash, it will be well worth it.

On the first day, you get to bounce around downtown starting with the food of Kim Canteenwalla (Honey Salt) and Sven Meade (formerly of American Fish) at The Flame Steakhouse. Next up will be Andre Rochat (Andre’s, Alize) hosting at Park on Fremont, followed by Megan Romano (Chocolate & Spice) and Richard Camarota (Sage) at EAT.

The next day is just as amazing. Chefs include Nancy Silverton, Jonathan Waxman, Rick Moonen, Gerald Chin, Cat Kora and Jason Tuley, and the venues will be EAT, Le Thai and Park on Fremont. It’s a combination of local legends and visiting royalty that will clearly highlight what the food portion of this festival is all about.

As L.I.B.s Head of Culinary Arts Jolene Manina puts it, “”If you are attending the festival for the food portion, the Culinary Crawl is the perfect fit for you. There are limited seats at each destination through the crawl providing a opportunity to meet each hosted chef along the way and have a more personal dining experience.”
