While it’s tempting to think of book-banning as a quaint problem from another era, now encountered primarily in old Ray Bradbury or George Orwell novels, the truth is grimmer: It’s still going on. (Just Google “banned books Tucson.”) Banned Books Week calls attention to the problem nationally, and this reading and panel discussion brings it to the local level.
