Photograher Britannie Bond superimposes transparent images of wild animals over metropolitan cityscapes. She’s not inserting the animals onto the street scenes, in some quasi-realistic way. She overlays a see-through shot of an animal atop the city for a more ghostly effect. The point? “The wilderness is the city and vice versa,” according to Other Voices Art Gallery, where the work is showing. Bond, a Las Vegas native now living in New York, is “transcribing the magnitude of the city into smaller nuanced moments that focus more on the transcendence and spontaneity of her surroundings.” In Emergency Arts, 520 Fremont St.
