As if answering a prayer for less bass and more dirty, gritty, bang-your-ugly-head garage rock, Austin, Texas quartet White Denim is coming to the Boulevard Pool this week. This won’t be its first Cosmopolitan visit, either: White Denim got the upgrade from Book & Stage to the big ticket. And we get it: As they incorporate elements of psychedelic garage rock and jam-band (i.e. weird) song structure, expect the pool to resonate with sounds somewhere between The Black Keys and Creedence Clearwater Revival. 9 p.m.; Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South, 698-7000, $20
