[COMICS] Sunday, Nov. 18
As college freshmen, we dismissed graphic novels as comic books. And then we later read Art Spiegelman’s Maus. We were soon eating a big fat crowburger. For those still cynical of the artform, cartoonist/computer programmer Bill Barnes and librarian/author Gene Ambaum will project their love for the medium with lectures and a multimedia presentation that puts the resonance of graphic novels in perspective. 3 p.m.; Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road, www.lvccld.org, free.
