Watching Lord Huron at Coachella back in April, we thought: This would sound perfect at the Beauty Bar patio. We thought that because, well, we knew the L.A.-based Americana sextet had already booked such a gig, and, more importantly, its shuffling indie folk would mix well with a nighttime desert breeze and cold beer. Its rootsy 2012 album, Lonesome Dreams, and grabbing single “Time to Run” may not boast Appalachian musical legitimacy, but it ought to hold over those still waiting on a local Fleet Foxes or My Morning Jacket date. With Rusty Maples. 10 p.m.; Beauty Bar, 517 Fremont St., ticketcake.com, $5.
