SquidHat Records, the Las Vegas-based record lable with a dozen punk and indie bands on its roster, announced this week that the label will be celebrating its second year in the rock and roll business with a two-day showcase at the Double Down Saloon.
Because where else would it be? SquidHat's bands regular appear and play for free at the venerable Double Down.
SquidHat founder and president Allan Carter announced the lineup.
Friday, Jan. 24, the bands will be: Bobby Meader, Surrounded By Thieves, Sounds Of Threat, Unfair Fight, and The Peccadilloes.
On Saturday, Jan. 25, the line-up will be Mercy Music, Attack Ships On Fire, War Called Home, Strange Mistress, and The People's Whiskey.
" We are really excited," Carter said. "Hell, we are excited we made it to two years!"
