PIZZA MAKING ART

Jan 08, 2014 2:19pm

Because local punks are unfalteringly supportive of their own, several local bands are banding together to raise money to keep Yayo Taco open after it closed following failed health inspections and a refusal to pay its $477 fine. We're not sure how much the bar needs in order to reopen, as the fine was due by Feb. 27, and it doesn't seem as though that's an open-ended situation. But either way, if there's one thing punk bands know how to do, it's get everyone together and donate all proceeds for the sake of a nobler cause.

The show starts at 4 p.m. March 1 (tonight), donation-only. The bands playing: Holding Onto Sound, Caravels, Stolas, Alaska, 1819, These Colors, Oranges and InReflect. Be there or hate music.
