Rock "N"Oodles, featuring "eclectic noodle creations and rock music from the decades," is opening to the public Monday, according to co-owners Susan Kordt and Brien McEahern.
The varied menu features various noodle dishes tilted towards down-home favorites such as twists on macaroni and cheese. A long wall in the small space is covered with album covers from classic pop and rock bands over the last 60 years. Along with executive chef Abbigail Byrd, the trio believe they can succeed at the spot on Third Street, just south of Charleston Boulevard, that recently was home to a Thai beef jerky restaurant.
They're looking at joining the bars and restaurants who are populating the Arts District and hope to soon include delivery nearby.
