After postponing his fall tour due to his mother's illness, English rock crooner Morrissey has rescheduled dates, which now pushes his original Black Friday show at the Chelsea Ballroom inside The Cosmopolitan to Feb. 9.
Those holding tickets should continue to keep them safe, as they'll be honored for the winter date. Anyone with other ticket issues should contact the Cosmopolitan box office at (702) 698-7778. Since the casino has not officially announced the rescheduled show, new tickets aren't available yet. The original ticket price was $67, and the show hadn't sold out at the time of postponement.
Kristeen Young will again open for the Mozzer, because the fourth time must be the charm.
As for those of you who had planned to skip (or complement) the Vegas date for the larger Los Angeles show with opener Iggy and the Stooges, good news, bad news and then good news. The gig is still on, for March 1 at the Staples Center, and while Pop is no longer on the bill, Morrissey has booked another legend to join him: Patti Smith and her band. That's Morrissey and Patti Smith, at the same show. Road trip still on!
